Colene & Brooke

Colene Evans-Allen, Writer
Colene is the daughter of retired Formula One Steward and roadcourse sedan racing Champion Ron Evans.  She attended her first race when she was three weeks old, and the members of her family account for over 120 years of racing experience collectively.  With thirty-three years involvement in motorsport in Canada, Colene has spent the last fourteen years as an official working at road course races, ice races, sprint car races, and rallies all over North America.  She is a member Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs (CASC-OR) in Canada and the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) in the United States.  Colene calls Southwestern Ontario home and regularly travels to officiate for the Tudor United Sports Car Championship, IndyCar, NASCAR, SCCA, and CASC-OR.  Colene is a freelance writer for In The Pits Media on the CBS Sports Radio Network and the Wheels section of the Toronto Star, which is Canada's most read daily newspaper.


Brooke Legacy, Photographer

An experienced portrait and landscape photographer, Brooke been exhibited at local venues and she has won awards.  Brooke begins her second year in the Photography program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario this fall and plans to make sports photography her career.  While Brooke enjoys the opportunity to photograph the celebrities and personalities that make up the racing world, she truly enjoys and does her best work at shooting the cars while out on track.  Brooke's photos have been featured on the website of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, as she was invited by the World of Outlaws to provide photos of the Six Nations Showdown at Ohsweken Speedway in 2013.  In addition, Brooke has shot at NASCAR Canadian Tire Series events, Grand-AM Rolex Series events, and American LeMans Series events.  She is currently the youngest motorsport photographer in North America at 18 years of age.
